Geographical environment

The school is situated at No.46 Shuguang Road near the beautiful West Lake as a first class sight region. It adjourns the Zhejiang University, the Zhejiang Library and the Dragon Sports Center.

The flowers and grass inside the schoolyard is very luxuriantly green and the environment is quite tranquil, ethereal and enjoyable. The campus is the first batch of green schools in Hangzhou City.

Humane Environment

There are not any business points surrounding the school which could bring the negative effects to the study of students, such as electrical game room, internet bar, unsuitable adult shop and dance hall etc.

Study Atmosphere

The school takes the style of study into groping for real and grasps the teaching quality resolutely. The emphasis for the class of the year one (10th ) high school students is to develop a good habit of study, The focal point for the class of the year two (11th) students is to direct and train good study methods. The keystone for the class of the year three (12th ) students is to improve effective studies. The construction of teaching courses is optimized and hence the system of the basic courses, developmental courses and research courses has been build up. The school pays close attention to the individual differences among students, unfolds the teaching program in administrative levels and improves the advanced method of teaching and studying. Therefore, the educational quality is going up with steady steps, which makes the rate over the criterion line of the National College Entrance Examination reaching 100% in the year of 2002 . The rate admitted into the principal science universities arrived to the number 4th over the city. The school has obtained a number of awards from different knowledge competition in the city, the province and whole country.   

There are 36 teaching classes in our school with over 1700 students and 171 school staff, including five distinguished teachers and 50 senior teachers. More than 10 teachers have obtained the honor titles of Advanced Teachers or Model Teachers awarded by the state or provincial government.
